It's tempting to go through life on our own. Focused on our own interests and gifts. It's even tempting to use the gifts we have been given for our own benefit, but scriptures tell us a different story. Our gifts are meant to be used for the common good - for the good of others. Not inflating our egos or securing positions, but for the good of others. As members of the Body of Christ, we all have to work together - all for one and one for all - to build the body of Christ and the Kingdom of God.
