No matter where you are in life,
there is a place for you to connect here!
God designed us to be in community and there is no better place
to find and make genuine, deep, and meaningful relationships
than here at Penningtonville.
Whether you’re looking to find your own place,
to be a part of something bigger than yourself,
or make an impact on the world, this is the church for you!
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
~ Matthew 28:19-20 (NRSV)
Worship

We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. This liturgical service honors the beauty and richness of our history centered around a biblical message. Come and hear the Word of God read, proclaimed, and lived out in our community.
Traditional Music
In our traditional worship service we are led by the Sanctuary choir under the direction of Lisa Rudisill. The Sanctuary choir helps lead the congregation in our worship together while singing anthems which deepen our worship experience.
We also have a children’s choir directed by Kurt Thompson, Jr. and a bell choir directed by Jan Lasak. Every Sunday our worship is enhanced by our organist / pianist Dawn Kimberling.

Sanctuary Choir
This choir is open to anyone who loves to sing. There are no audition requirements. This group provides the main choral support at the 10:30 traditional worship service and other special services throughout the year. In addition to singing an anthem every week, they help to lead in the singing of hymns and responses. The group meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM for rehearsal.
Bell Choir
This choir makes a musical contribution to the worship services several times throughout the year. There are no audition requirements, although knowing how to read music is a plus. The group rehearses in an as needed before performances.

Children’s Choir
There is nothing more beautiful than the sound of children singing to the Lord. The children choir is directed by Kurt Thompson, Jr. who infuses passion and love for music as he guides the children.
