Worship at Penningtonville

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good and his love
endures forever.”  Psalm 100

Worship at Penningtonville is a time for the Body of Christ to gather together to do what we were created to do, worship God. Our music is a mix of contemporary praise songs and ancient hymns. We have a wonderful Senior Choir that helps us with congregational singing as well as offering an anthem.

Children are an important part of worship at Penningtonville. We have a Children’s Message during worship, and children are encouraged to stay throughout the whole service. We also provide a nursery for young children. We have a Junior Choir which sings every other week.

We also have an adult bell choir, the Penningtonville Ringers, and a children’s bell choir, the Krystal Bells, who offer their talent in praise to God.

Central to our worship is the proclamation of the Word, through both the Scripture Reading and the Message. Each week we listen to hear the Word that God has for us, and we are challenged to apply that message to our daily living.

We Celebrate Communion the 1st Sunday of each month as well as other times throughout the year. Being fed and nourished by the bread of life and the cup of salvation are a regular part of our worship life together.

Worship at Penningtonville is for all ages and for people at all stages in their walk with God. Please join us as we gather to worship our God!

We Worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. (9:30 a.m. during summer months)
