Welcome!

So you have found our website. Maybe you were looking for it - looking to find out a little info about Penningtonville Church.

Maybe you just happened across our website - looking for something else, but now you are here.

Maybe you are new to the area and are doing some “church shopping” and you thought you’d look us up.

For whatever reason you have found this web-page, I hope you take some time to look around, to see who we are, what we are about, and how you might find a place with us.

I also hope that you come and join us some Sunday to experience in person worship here at Penningtonville, as a group of people join together to do what we were all created to do - worship God.

Blessings on your Journey!

Rev. Dr. Jason T. Link, Pastor

The PPC Logo
Two symbols more than any others help to define and distinguish the Christian faith. Both of those symbols can be found in the PPC Logo. The first is the symbol of the cross, formed by the two "P's" in the logo. The cross is seen by some as a symbol of death and defeat, but for Christians the cross is the symbol of life and victory, the life and victory that Jesus won for all of us on the cross. The second symbol is the empty tomb, formed by the sideways "C" in the logo. The tomb could not contain Jesus. Jesus' earthly  death was not the end, but instead a new beginning, a new promise of eternal life that is offered to all who believe in him.

Mission & Vision Statements

Mission Statement: Helping people grow in their relationship to God through Worship, Community Formation Groups, and Mission & Outreach Opportunities.

Vision Statement:

Worship is a time to Come & Learn

Community Formation Groups are places to Share & Grow

Mission & Outreach Opportunities are ways to Go & Serve

Discipleship Process:

The Discipleship Process of Penningtonville Church involves inviting people to Come & Learn about who God is and who we are in relationship to God in Worship. The next step in the Discipleship Process is becoming a part of one of the Community Formation Groups, where individuals are connected to a group who are gathered to Share & Grow in their faith journey. We continue to develop as disciples as we seek ways of becoming involved in Mission & Outreach Opportunities. Mission & Outreach Opportunities provide us with ways to Go & Serve in a variety of different places using a variety of different gifts. This Discipleship Process never ends, but rather continues to evolve as we as disciples continue to Come & Learn in Worship; as we continue to Share & Grow in Community Formation Groups; and as we continue to Go & Serve through Mission & Outreach Opportunities.
